The centre is providing educational program for MBBS students, B. Optometry students and M.D. Ophthalmology residents. Besides there is also a periodic posting from students of MDGP, MD & DM Neuromedicine, MD Paediatrics, BN & MN Program.

The eye centre is fully equipped with standard ophthalmic instruments and equipments in the Out-patient department, examination and procedure rooms and in the operation theatre to provide high quality services to our patients. It also has its own attractive optical Unit and an Ophthalmic Pharmacy.  Regular community services are provided through satellite clinics at Ram mandir, Bhaktapur, Korea Nepal Friendship Hospital, Bhakatapur and  Reukai Eiko Masunaga Eye Hospital, Banepa. At present we have a workforce of 69 staffs with 10 ophthalmologists, 6 Optometry faculties, 15 MD residents and 39 optometry students. We are planning to start Fellowship Program in various subspecialties and also Master in Optometry Program in near future.
